Questions

If the answer is not here, email me and I will get back to you.

How much is shipping?
A flat $15 per order, anywhere in Canada — not per item. Put five things in your cart and it is still $15. An order of only small flat things — stickers, keychains, magnets, soother clips — goes in an envelope instead, for $5. I ship by Canada Post, usually within 3 business days, and you get tracking by email.
Do you ship outside Canada?
No — Canadian addresses only. Sorry.
Can I pick it up instead?
Yes, and it is free. Choose Free local pickup at checkout and I will email you to arrange a time in Metcalfe, Ontario.
Can I return something?
All sales are final. Almost everything here is the only one in that size and colour, so there is nothing to exchange it for. If something arrives damaged or is not what the listing said, email me and I will make it right.
Has any of this been worn?
No. Everything is unworn stock that has been sitting in my inventory — printed, folded and never sold. It is second-hand only in the sense that it has been in a box in my house rather than on a shop shelf.
Is there tax on top?
No. The price you see is the price you pay — nothing is added at checkout. Milk Magique is not registered for GST/HST, so there is no tax to add.
How do I look after it?
It depends how the piece was printed, and every listing says which. DTF is machine washable as it is, no turning needed. Just keep it away from high heat: nothing hot in the dryer, and no iron on the print. Vinyl goes in the machine and the dryer inside out, which is what keeps it on. Mugs are fine in the dishwasher on the top rack. Tumblers are hand wash only. Nothing that holds a drink goes in the microwave, tumblers and glass cans included. Stickers are waterproof and UV proof, so rain and sun are fine, but do not soak them.
How much is shipping on the small things?
Stickers, keychains, magnets and soother clips are small enough to go letter mail, so an order of only those is $5 — and stickers on their own are free once you spend $10 on them, whatever size they are. Pickup in Metcalfe is free. An order with anything bigger in it needs a parcel, so it is the usual flat $15.

Stickers come in a little kraft box printed with moons, suns and stars, whether you paid the $5 or spent the $10 and it shipped free. The cardboard goes straight in your recycling.

Letter mail has a size limit as well as a price, so a big enough pile of small things stops fitting and has to go as a parcel. If that happens to your order I will email you before I send anything and we will sort it out between us. I will never put through a charge you did not agree to.
What is the Oupsie bin?
Pieces where something did not go to plan — a print that sits a little off, a colour that came out odd. They are a few dollars each, and they are marked Oupsie wherever they appear. Same final sale as everything else.
What does “Slight flaw” mean?
A few pieces have a small imperfection — a mark in the print, a pull in the fabric. They are labelled Slight flaw everywhere they appear and sold at 30% off. I would rather tell you and discount it than hope you do not notice.
How do the sizes run?
Sizes are as printed on the garment label, and they vary a little between garment types because they came from different blanks. If you are between sizes, email me before you buy and I will measure the actual piece for you.
Why is there no tax?
Milk Magique is a sole proprietorship that is not registered for GST/HST, so no tax is charged. The price you see is the price you pay, plus shipping if you choose it.
Something sold while it was in my cart. What happened?
Someone got there first. Because most pieces are one of a kind, your cart is checked against live stock every time you open it, and anything that has sold is removed with a note rather than failing at checkout.
Where does the name Milk Magique come from?
From liquid gold — what people call breast milk. I wanted a name that said the same thing but worked in both languages, and Milk Magique does: milk is magical, half English and half French, the way most conversations around here actually go. Feeding a baby is not something to tuck away in a back room. Taking up space is the whole point.
Is Milk Magique closing?
No. This is a sale to clear the racks, not the end of anything. Milk Magique is about breastfeeding awareness, and the “Eat All Body Shamers” decals are next. More about that here.
